Abstract
⺠Existing correlations for the calculation of the higher heating value(HHV) of the biofuels are selected. ⺠The HHV are evaluated with different formulae and compared to the experimental values. ⺠Error estimation are used to evaluate the accuracy of the different methods studied. ⺠Hence a list of the recommended correlations is put forward.
