Abstract
⺠In this work we investigate theoretically and numerically the nature of the evolution of a hot gas mixture containing polydisperse organic gel fuel droplets. ⺠The polydisperse spray is modeled using a Probability Density Function. ⺠We take into account the time evolution of the Probability Density Function due to the evaporation process by using the kinetic equation. ⺠By applying the method of integral invariant manifold we get an explicit (analytical) expression for the thermal explosion limit and for the delay time.
