Abstract
⺠Conversion of toxic argemone oil to biodiesel. ⺠An alternative cheap and rapid method of treatment to obtain comparable quality biofuel additive (RAO). ⺠10% blending of RAO with commercial petroleum diesel (PD) was the optimum treatment to increase efficiency of diesel engine. ⺠This proportion of RAO and PD mixture also reduced the emission of greenhouse gases. (CO, CO2, NOx etc.)
