Abstract
⺠Liftoff height decreased with increased fuel velocity. ⺠A linear tendency was observed in the coaxial air to fuel jet velocity ratio. ⺠It was related to the fuel jet breakup during the laminar-to-turbulent transition. ⺠This behavior was explained in terms of the boundary velocity gradient concept.
