Abstract
âºThere are numerous surface treatments for graphite modifications to reduce the number of graphene layers in graphitic structure. ⺠One of the methods is graphite oxidation to reduce strong bonding between sheets in graphite to receive monolayer graphene sheet. ⺠Main objectives in the present work are: to tailor the characteristic properties of graphene nanosheets via various oxidation times, ⺠to optimize reactant ratios during graphite oxidation, and ⺠to decrease the number of graphene layers in graphitic structure to be used as fuel cell electrodes.
