Abstract
⺠Healing process was simulated by pressing two pieces of bitumen together using DSR. ⺠Two phases can be observed: Initial healing and Time dependent healing. ⺠Initial healing shows a three-stage complex modulus increase due to gap closure. ⺠Compressive normal force promotes the development of time dependent healing.
