Abstract
⺠Electrochemical oxidation of 2-Nitrophenol using carbon felt (CF) cathode and Pt or BDD anodes. ⺠Comparative oxidation power of Pt and BDD in Pt/CF and BDD/CF cells in absence and presence of Fe2+. ⺠Comparative mineralization power Pt/CF, BDD/CF and BDD/CF/Fe2+ cells. ⺠Increasing oxidation/mineralization power in order Pt/FC < BDD/FC < BDD/CF/Fe2+ processes. ⺠Current efficiency increase in same sequence as the mineralization power.
