Abstract
► The construction and performance characteristics of different dextromethorphan (DXM) potentiometric sensors are described. ► The cited electrodes are based on β-cyclodextrin as sensing ionophore. ► The detection limit was improved by almost two orders of magnitude. ► The developed sensors were applied for the potentiometric determination of DXM in pharmaceutical formulations.
