Abstract
⺠A highly enlarged surface area of mesoporous Pt electrode (roughness factor = 220) was used in the luminol ECL experiment. ⺠Strong luminol ECL responses related to reductions of PtO and molecular oxygen were observed in a neutral solution pH. ⺠The luminol ECL response was greatly enhanced in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. ⺠The present luminol ECL based on mesoporous Pt electrode can detect hydrogen peroxide in nanomolar concentration range.
