Abstract
⺠Voltammetry under Butler-Volmer and Marcus-Hush electrode kinetic models are compared. ⺠Notable discrepancies are found for slow kinetics, short pulses and microelectrodes. ⺠These differences can affect significantly the extraction of kinetic parameters. ⺠Striking phenomena predicted with Butler-Volmer are studied with Marcus-Hush.
