Abstract
► Electron transfer between hexacyanoferrates and a lutetium bisphthalocyanine at liquid/liquid interfaces. ► The LuIII bisphthalocyanine presents over ferrocene the advantage to also be reducible. ► The sandwich-like complex is much less soluble in water than ferrocene and also much more stable. ► The electron exchange and coupling with ion transfers was studied by voltammetry at microinterfaces and spectrophotometry.
