Abstract
Co-electrodeposition of Cd(II) and Te(IV) from ammonia-chloride buffer electrolytes with pH 8.4 on glassy-carbon electrode has been studied. Optimal conditions of electrodeposition of CdTe films are determined and their structure is investigated by the method of X-ray phase analysis. It has been established that the use of ammonia-chloride buffer solutions with pH 8.4 as electrolytes makes it possible to avoid the co-deposition of elementary tellurium together with CdTe deposit.
