Abstract
Mg/Al hydrotalcite structured in crystals of nanometric dimensions supported onto silica (nano-HT/SiO2) was synthesized and tested for Cr(VI) adsorption from aqueous solutions by anionic exchange more efficiently than the macroscopic counterpart even though the adsorption mechanism of the latter is by “memory effect”.
