Abstract
⺠A novel electrochemical sensor was designed. ⺠Corrosion-induced metal release was investigated by ICP-MS and the sensor. ⺠The correlation between electrochemical parameters and ICP results was analyzed. ⺠The internal surface morphology of the cans was characterized by AFM. ⺠A metal release mechanism was proposed.
