Abstract
⺠Temperature variations of chilled, packaged and palletised cod fillets were studied. ⺠Combined experimental and numerical study was conducted. ⺠Pallet stack sizes of 4 and 12 box levels were compared. ⺠Mean temperature rise was predicted to be 1.0 °C lower for the larger stack. ⺠Overall mean absolute error in the numerical model was 0.3 °C.
