Abstract
⺠We evaluated the transport mechanism of bioactive compounds from chitosan films. ⺠Mathematical models were used to discuss the transport mechanism. ⺠Bioactive compounds release was successfully described by linear superimposition model. ⺠Temperature and peptide size effect on transport was correlated with films properties.
