Abstract
⺠Multiscale finite element models of three and four locular tomatoes were developed. ⺠Locular gel tissue appeared mechanical damage prior to the other tissues of fruit. ⺠Deformed displacement of tissues was the highest for four locular fruit loaded from P2. ⺠Structural characteristics had an obvious effect on mechanical damage of the tissues.
