Abstract
► The trilayer films (PLC/MC/PLC) contained two formulations of antimicrobial agents. ► Evaluating antimicrobial effects of films against food pathogens in broccoli. ► These films were very active against Escherichia coli and Salmonella typhimurium. ► These films controlled the growth of total aerobic bacteria up to 10 days.
