Abstract
► Investigated relationship between composition, bulk characteristics and agglomerate properties. ► Bulk densities before conveying increased with the protein content. ► Increasing the protein content also increased the strength of the agglomerates tested. ► Force at failure and stiffness of individual agglomerates were strongly correlated.
