Abstract
⺠A method for estimating breakage and coalescence during homogenization is proposed. ⺠Obtained rates compare well to those obtained from more laborious methods. ⺠Coalescence scaling with pressure is close to that obtained in theory for turbulence. ⺠The method is suited for design and optimization of high-pressure homogenization.
