Abstract
► Films based on chitosan with addition of carvacrol and grape seed extract (GSE) were studied. ► Film-1 was composed by 9.6 ppm (carvacrol), 684 ppm (GSE) and 1.25% w/v (chitosan). ► Film-1 showed highest water content and lowest crystallinity, CO2P, TS and luminosity. ► Carvacrol and GSE affect the films structure and its mechanical properties.
