Abstract
► Modeling of SC-CO2 extraction of forskolin by solubility parameter approach. ► The variables for extraction of forskolin optimized by using one factor at-a-time. ► Use of methanol as an entrainer increased the recovery of forskolin. ► Maximum recovery of forskolin achieved was 77.08%.
