Abstract
► Pequi is a typical fruit from Brazil with high level of polyphenols and carotenoids. ► The extractions conditions were studied to recover bioactive compounds from fruit. ► Aqueous and alcoholic extracts of pequi with high antioxidant activity were obtained. ► Pequi extracts was subjected to nanofiltration process for concentration. ► Nanofiltration showed efficiency to concentrate the pequi aqueous extract.
