Abstract
► Dark colored compounds of date syrup have been removed using activated carbon. ► Different adsorption isotherms are evaluated to fit with the experimental values. ► Langmuir isotherm was the best fitted one to the experimental data. ► The adsorption kinetics was investigated by the pseudo-first and the pseudo-second order models.
