Abstract
► Impact of fluid bed drying on viability of Enterococcus faecium M74 was investigated. ► Atomizing air pressure, process time and temperature affected the cell viability. ► The fluidized-bed drying was processed by layering the microorganisms on spherical pellets. ► Using pellets as carrier facilitated the processing of dried cells into solid formulations.
