Abstract
												⺠We present a concise literature review on the production of vegetable proteins from oilseed. ⺠Major findings and breakthroughs using rapeseed are described and discussed. ⺠We present very general concepts related to proteins. ⺠Different issues involving protein isolation, purification and valorization are clearly discussed.
