Abstract
► Flow of aerated dairy systems through a nozzle was modelled. ► A microsystem described the behaviour of single bubbles and the surrounding medium. ► A macrosystem coupled together the single microsystems to describe the foam flow. ► Simulation results were compared to experimental data. ► A good agreement confirmed that the model is able to describe the investigated system.
