Abstract
► Successful optimization of PLE extraction process by surface response methodology. ► PLE at 5 MPa, 353 K and 9 min of static extraction produced the highest recovery of anthocyanins. ► More anthocyanins and total phenolics were extracted by PLE compared to conventional extraction. ► PLE is economically viable for extraction of anthocyanins and phenolic from jabuticaba skins.
