Abstract
► Novel spinning disc apparatus allows measurement of deposition on cooled surfaces. ► Model solutions of tripalmitin in paraffin readily form gels on cooled surfaces. ► Deposition exhibits linear fouling followed by falling rate behaviour. ► Deposition solids content increases over time, indicating significant ageing. ► Deposit rheology very sensitive to solids content.
