Abstract
⺠Novel spinning disc apparatus allows measurement of deposition on cooled surfaces. ⺠Model solutions of tripalmitin in paraffin readily form gels on cooled surfaces. ⺠Deposition exhibits linear fouling followed by falling rate behaviour. ⺠Deposition solids content increases over time, indicating significant ageing. ⺠Deposit rheology very sensitive to solids content.
