Abstract
⺠Non-destructive measurements are tested for assessing peach maturity. ⺠Optical and mechanical techniques were observed to be complementary. ⺠Optical measurements were best for assessing maturity at harvest. ⺠Non-destructive mechanical measurements detected handling incidences. ⺠Combination of both kinds of techniques is recommended for post-harvest assessment.
