Abstract
⺠This paper is focused on tailings disposal. ⺠How to analyze the stability of tailings dam via laboratory physical model test. ⺠A case study was used to illustrate the physical modeling of the new tailings dam. ⺠The accurate profile of the tailings dam has been obtained via the model test. ⺠The results of stability analysis have been obtained.
