Abstract
⺠DEM can accurately simulate the flow of non-cohesive polyhedral particles. ⺠A soft linear spring contact model is reasonable. ⺠Polyhedra flow here is generally slightly faster than the spheres. ⺠However, polyhedra tend to jam more readily than the spheres at smaller orifices.
