► DEM can accurately simulate the flow of non-cohesive polyhedral particles. ► A soft linear spring contact model is reasonable. ► Polyhedra flow here is generally slightly faster than the spheres. ► However, polyhedra tend to jam more readily than the spheres at smaller orifices.
