Abstract
It is well known that plants aid the removal of air pollutants. On the other hand, there is little research on air purification capabilities of absorption and disintegration of the air pollutants by plants. This research observes the air purification effect of plants' absorption capabilities of carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOX) with the aim of quantifying air purification capabilities. CO2 and NOX absorption rates were measured from the experiment and the characteristics and seasonal change of CO2 and NOX absorption were measured.
