Abstract
⺠Single and double electrode welding processes were used to joint two pair of plates. ⺠Residual stresses were monitored during two weeks after welding. ⺠The experimental results show the continuous process of welding stresses relaxation. ⺠This process is characterized by reduction of the maximum shear stresses. ⺠Microstructure analysis shows the absence of material failure.
