Abstract
ⶠTillage systems differing in soil disturbance have different effects on physical and biological soil parameters and on the growth of weeds. ⶠThis is very important especially under organic farming condition. ⶠReduced tillage systems improved soil physical and biological properties without detrimentally affecting crop root growth. ⶠIn order to recommend non-inversive tillage at a larger scale more research on efficient weed control measures in organic farming seems imperative.
