Abstract
â¶ Soil porosity and hydraulic properties for arable land and grassland were studied. â¶ Properties of the A1, A2 and BT1 horizons at booth locations were different. â¶ Porosities and soil water retentions in grassland were higher than in arable land. â¶ Gravitational pores were mostly eliminated in grassland. â¶ Therefore the Ks values in grassland were lower than in arable land.
