Abstract
⺠Sex-typed interests partly underlie women's underrepresentation in STEM careers. ⺠Sex-typed career interests are influenced by prenatal androgens. ⺠Sex-typed career interests reflect orientation to objects (vs. people). ⺠Females with CAH are more likely than controls to prefer careers related to objects. ⺠Prenatal androgens affect interests through orientation to Things vs. People.
