Abstract
⺠AR gene polymorphisms (CAG repeat length) predict strength, self-reported dominance and prestige. ⺠These polymorphisms do not predict mating strategy (via the Sociosexual Orientation Inventory). ⺠Neither baseline testosterone, nor T interacting with CAG length, predict any of these outcomes. ⺠AR gene polymorphisms may calibrate androgen-dependent aspects of intrasexual competitiveness.
