Abstract
⺠We completed an experimental manipulation of cortisol using hormone implants. ⺠We examine how acute and chronic stress influence reproductive behavior. ⺠Our experiments observe reproductive physiology and outcome. ⺠Exogenous cortisol implants negatively influence survival and reproduction. ⺠Acute stress events do not influence survival and reproduction.
