Abstract
⺠Little is known about the development of children of illegal migrant workers. ⺠Recognizing this need, a study collecting data about this population is presented. ⺠Life events and mental health indicators were compared for three groups of children. ⺠Group differences on ethnic identity and on negative life events were found. ⺠A positive relation was found between life events and psychological difficulties.
