Abstract
⺠FGMs are a legislated forum for child protection decision-making in Queensland. ⺠We interviewed ten parents who participated in FGMs. ⺠Parents valued feeling respected, having their opinions heard, and being supported. ⺠Parents demonstrated a relatively sophisticated understanding of the meeting process.
