Abstract
⺠We have interviewed 240 children in Swedish residential and foster care. ⺠Nearly 40% of the children see their siblings more seldom than monthly. ⺠The children want more frequent sibling contacts. ⺠The Swedish family service system does not guarantee desired contacts with siblings. ⺠From a children's rights perspective it is fundamental to facilitate sibling contact.
