Abstract
⺠We investigate influences of maternal re-partnering and new-partner births. ⺠We focus on nonresident father visitation and child support payments. ⺠We use National Longitudinal Survey of Youth data and fixed-effects models. ⺠Re-partnering is associated with decreased yearly visitation and child support. ⺠New births for re-partnered mothers are linked to a decrease in monthly visitation.
