Abstract
⺠Former residents are positive about their experience in therapeutic residential care. ⺠They are positive about the staff, life story work and leisure. ⺠Their views of therapy, school, friendships and preparations for leaving are mixed. ⺠Providing therapeutic residential care to children is a challenging task. ⺠Staff are central to meeting the challenges in therapeutic children's homes.
