Abstract
⺠Differential response (DR) was studied in a field experiment. ⺠DR family assessments led to increased provision of anti-poverty services. ⺠Anti-poverty services led to reductions in reports of child maltreatment. ⺠Family-friendly assessments had positive consequences. ⺠Positive outcomes were observed for several years.
