Abstract
⺠Females in foster care had more than twice the odds of expecting a college degree. ⺠Females in foster care reported higher academic performance than males. ⺠No differences were found between genders on college preparation and efficacy. ⺠After a college program, male expectations increased at a greater rate than females.
