► BoNT-A in the region of the motor end plate zone of the psoas muscle gives muscle atrophy. ► Muscle atrophy after MEP targeted injection is present on MRI after 2 and 6 months. ► Injection of the psoas muscle in the distal area will not give muscle atrophy.
