Abstract
⺠Contributions of phonological skills to non-word decoding were examined after controlling for IQ. ⺠The participants were 15-23 years old students with mild intellectual disability. ⺠Phonological awareness and rapid automated naming had unique contributions to decoding ability. ⺠Short-term memory contributed to decoding ability under the realm of phonological awareness.
