Abstract
⺠With behavioral intervention, children with Angelman Syndrome quickly learned to initiate sleep independently. ⺠With behavioral intervention, children with Angelman Syndrome showed significant reductions in disruptive bedtime behaviors. ⺠With improved sleep, there were related improvements in nonsleep adaptive behaviors. ⺠Sleep problems in children with Angelman Syndrome can be effectively treated without medication. ⺠Parents found the behavioral treatment to be highly acceptable.
