The effects of a Special Olympics Unified Sports Soccer training program on anthropometry, physical fitness and skilled performance in Special Olympics soccer athletes and non-disabled partners

► This study examined the effects of participation in a Unified Sports soccer program. ► Participants' performance increased more than controls in most fitness and skill variables. ► The program was effective for youth both with and without intellectual disability. ► The implication can be utilized to motivate professionals attempting inclusion practices.
